The most common routes are a flyover of Promthep Cape and the west coast beaches (15-20 minutes), a flight over Phang Nga Bay with views of the famous limestone cliffs (25-30 minutes), and a longer route to Phi Phi (35-40 minutes). The longer the route, the higher the price.

Short scenic flights start around 15,000-20,000 THB per helicopter (not per person) — capacity is usually 3-5 passengers, so it's worth calculating the price per group. Longer routes and private charters cost more accordingly.

A separate option isn't a scenic flight but a transfer — from the airport straight to a villa, or between districts bypassing traffic. It costs more than a taxi but saves hours during high season when the roads are jammed.

There's almost always a passenger weight limit — check with the operator in advance. Book sunset slots a few days ahead: they sell out fastest and there are usually only 1-5 seats per flight.
