Day at an elephant sanctuary with river swimming and English-speaking guide

An ethical sanctuary for rescued elephants where the animals roam freely in the jungle. Small group and a lot of time with the elephants: feeding, mud treatments and swimming with them. Morning transfer, about an hour on the road, arrival at 8:00, snack and story about the history of the rescued elephants. A walk to them in the jungle: you can touch, feed and take pictures. At 11:00 a homemade Thai lunch, then more feeding, healing mud on the skin of the elephants and swimming with them in the river. Around 16:00 final photos, snacks and seasonal fruits. Group of up to 10 people, guide speaks English. Transfer from your accommodation in Phuket or Khao Lak, the location depends on the area of the hotel. Children under 10 years old are not allowed. You need closed shoes, clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, and socks: rubber boots are provided when it rains. The trails are uneven and basic fitness is required.
